Ag-Bag International's farm and agriculture equipment includes silage equipment, silage bags, silage inoculants, silage wrappers, silage baggers and grain bagging equipment.Our Silage Bagging systems are used in the dairy, beef and sheep industry as well as used to store byproducts such as wet beet pulp, brewer?s grain, etc. Traditional methods of storing feed have included bunkers, pits, and silos, or baling hay. Silage is made using the Ag-Bag? system by storing forage crops, such as corn, sorghum, alfalfa or grass under anaerobic (without oxygen) conditions in sealed Ag-Bag Tri Dura? storage bags. Ag-Bag?s method is to store the feed in plastic bags up to 500 feet in length and up to 12 feet in diameter. The feed is compacted tightly into the bag by using the machines rotor design and patented braking system the company manufactures specifically for that purpose.
