The 3500 Series Electric utilizes spring-loaded pivot points and front and rear torsion arms. Each arm is designed with a flexible joint/elbow that allows horizontal and vertical movement. And while the original is ideal for grain trailers, an additional end dump variation equips the rear torsion arm with the new Gate Flex option - an additional flexible joint/elbow used to mount the roll tube to the rear torsion arm, allowing top hinged tailgates to open and close without interference.
