Talk about a quantum leap in productivity! Previous HAYING MANTIS units had handled midsize bales individually. Although many producers were gathering and stacking as many as 75-90 bales per hour, the engineering staff at JEI wanted to improve this rate. With the 3x3 Special, bales are carried over the Cam Trac in pairs to be deposited on the bed. Besides an astounding gain in capacity per hour, the bales also are more stable on the bed when "friction locked" together by loading them in this manner. The speed alone makes the 3x3 Special indispensable to midsize bale producers but for those on rough terrain, it has been a significant design modification to the HAYING MANTIS...
