The year 2006 marks the 100th anniversary of the Krone Company. 100 years ago Bernard Krone established a blacksmith shop in the village of Spelle in the Emsland Region of Germany. Today Krone is a global company with farm equipment distribution in 45 different countries, North America being their largest Ag export country. Considering the Semi Trailer Manufacturing Group, the Agricultural Retail Sales Group and the Ag Manufacturing Group, worldwide sales for Bernard Krone Holding GmbH in 2004 were in excess of $875,000,000.
